Matt O’Garey of Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia has been a Stellar sponsored paddler since 2010. Matt has achieved some impressive results for Stellar with state and national representation and medals, back to back Pacific Ocean Series wins, podium finishes at the famous Molokai World Championships (40+) and consistently on the podium at local and national events, with his most recent victory in the national marathon titles.

Matt has benefited from the guidance, preparation and direction of the sports best international level coaches through his years of paddling including a stint at the AIS under direction of former Olympians and coaches Barry Kelly and Grant Davies.

At the age of 43 Matt continues to be a competitive force, however loves to give back to the sport that has given him so much. He is a fully accredited paddling coach and loves to share his experience and guide other paddlers in their development. Matt loves nothing more than empowering paddlers with correct set up, technique, efficiency and providing the tools and know how to get the most out of their downwind paddling.
